How customizable are the briefs?
Yahini's briefs are fully editable to match your specific needs.
You can modify any element of the brief, add your own sections, adjust recommendations, or customize the format to align with your team's preferences.
Brief Customization Features - The “Regenerate brief” feature
The "Regenerate Brief" feature allows you to fine-tune your content brief based on your needs. Whether you want to adjust the focus, exclude certain competitors, or refine the audience targeting, this feature helps you get the most relevant and effective brief.
How to Regenerate a Brief
-
Go to your content brief – Open the brief you want to adjust.
-
Click "Regenerate" – You'll find this button at the bottom-left of the Brief Overview.
-
Provide your feedback – In the pop-up, describe what you'd like to change. Be as detailed as possible! (Check out examples here for inspiration.)
-
Submit & regenerate – Your brief will be updated, incorporating your feedback.
Why Would I Regenerate a Brief?
Regenerating a brief ensures your content is aligned with your business goals, audience, and market trends. Some common reasons to regenerate a brief include:
✅ Refining audience targeting – Adjusting the brief to focus on a more specific customer segment (e.g., switching from general marketers to B2B SaaS founders).
✅ Changing the content angle – Reframing the approach (e.g., from a beginner's guide to an expert-level strategy).
✅ Updating for competitors – Excluding competitors that aren't relevant or adding competitive differentiators.
✅ Shifting the focus – Adding emphasis on key topics (e.g., highlighting CRM automation instead of generic sales tips).
✅ Adjusting tone & style – Making the content sound more conversational, technical, or aligned with your brand voice.
How Do "Regenerate Brief" Credits Work?
Every time you regenerate a brief, it uses one of your monthly brief credits.
A simplified example:
- If you have 10 brief credits per month, creating a new brief uses 1 credit.
- If you only created one brief, you could regenerate it 9 times within that month.
- Once a new month begins, your credits reset based on your plan.
This ensures you have the flexibility to tweak and refine your briefs without unnecessary limitations.
Examples of adjustments you can request
1. Competitor Exclusion
"Can we remove any mention of [Competitor X]? They're not relevant to our business, and we don't want to give them visibility in our content. Instead, can we focus on differentiating our approach?"
2. Audience Targeting Adjustment
"The brief assumes our audience is general marketers, but we actually target B2B SaaS founders. Can we refine the messaging to speak directly to their pain points, like scaling content with a lean team?"
3. Change in Content Angle
"Right now, the brief frames this as a beginner's guide, but our readers are already familiar with the basics. Let's shift the angle to an advanced strategy guide with real-world case studies."
4. New Focus Area
"I need the brief to focus more on how B2B CRM systems help with customer retention and sales automation. Let's highlight key features like pipeline management, automated follow-ups, and integrations with tools like HubSpot and Salesforce"
5. Tone of Voice Refinement
"The current brief draft feels too formal. We want a more conversational, engaging tone, maybe like how HubSpot or Ahrefs writes."
How does Yahini know what brief structure to follow?
This is where Yahini's strategic approach really shines. Each funnel stage has specific content types that work best for its audience and intent.
For example, a “how-to guide” is a content type belonging to MOFU.
Yahini analyzes your keyword and business context to assign the most appropriate content type, then builds a brief structure specifically designed for that content type.
This means no two briefs are identical - each is crafted for its unique purpose in your content strategy.
How do I share briefs with writers?
Simply copy the brief content and paste it into your preferred document or collaboration tool.
The briefs are formatted to be easily readable and actionable, ensuring writers have all the information they need to create high-quality content.
What makes Yahini's briefs unique?
Unlike traditional brief generators that simply compile competitor headlines or follow rigid templates, Yahini's briefs are:
-
Strategically driven: Built on frameworks developed by experienced content strategists;
-
Context-aware: Customized for your specific business and audience;
-
Funnel-aligned: Structured according to the content's role in your marketing funnel;
-
Purpose-built: Designed for specific content types rather than using one-size-fits-all templates;
-
Business-specific: Incorporating your unique value propositions and competitive advantages.
How accurate are the AI-generated briefs?
Yahini’s briefs consistently achieve about 90% accuracy when compared to those created by human strategists. This high accuracy rate is the result of:
- Continuous algorithm updates based on user feedback;
- Regular incorporation of industry best practices;
- Ongoing training with real-world content strategy examples;
- Regular validation against human expert recommendations.
While AI can't completely replicate the nuanced understanding of a human strategist, we've worked hard to make our briefs a great starting point for content creation.
We're constantly refining our system to improve accuracy while maintaining the flexibility for you to add your unique strategic insights.
The goal isn't to replace human strategy entirely, but to automate the foundational work so you can focus on adding your unique expertise and insights to the content creation process.
